Do your school have an allergy plan?

2011 Kindergarten still. I was asking the administrators if they have one.

Hello

Hope all is well

Please advise if you have an emergency plan for Life threating allergic reactions. (not simple hives or itchy skin... but anaphylactic shock which can be fatal)

-One scenario is at breakfast there is a student who reacts to a muffin and they have an injection pen for allergies and the nurse is not at school as yet - what is the protocol.

Here is links to a recent cases to show the seriousness of this topic.

Some schools have plans, with roles and responsibilities to minimize risks.

I am willing to help with developing if there is nothing in place.

please advise

Response:

They suggested I speak with the nurse
