Hello Brandon, Thanks for your message! Our cream cheeses are made on the same line that produces other cream cheeses with tree nuts or peanuts. Our equipment is cleaned and sanitized between production runs to prevent allergens from contaminating non-allergenic products. For that reason, the FDA does not allow us to add the statement “produced on the same equipment that comes in contact with tree nuts”. We validate our cleaning procedures, however testing methods can only detect allergen proteins to a very low level, but not zero. Hope this helps! Thank you for your interest in Melanie’s Medleys.
